To my Mom
and Dad, who probably thought I was a weirdo kid, but allowed
me to turn their basement into a little radio station.
To my 6th grade
teacher, Mrs. Eck (I never did know her first name) for encouraging
me to pursue a radio career after writing a term paper on the nation's
first radio station.
To Andrew
Doss, who's love for music equals his love for fiddling with
the computer. He takes credit for designing the web site and to
Christopher
Obuck, who has taken over as Webmaster, doing an outstanding
job jumping into the project full steam ahead with much enthusiasm.
He maintains all the wacky text/image updates and continues to encourage
me to keep the information new and fresh. He also comes up with
very creative marketing ideas to promote the site, one of which
involves a contest inviting 20 lucky listeners to the Bronx
Zoo to see the person who can match wits with the only bird respected
in academia, the Pileated Woodpecker. We'll see if I can
pull this off! Yaddle! Yaddle! Wackadooooooooo!
To Noodles
and Romer, my two dachshunds,
who won't stop bugging me while I type this stuff.
and, to all
the firefighters, rescue workers and police officers, especially
Brooklyn's 76th precinct, for protecting all of us and reminding
ourselves that New York city ain't that bad a place to live after
