After landing in Santo Domingo, I hopped a single engine puddle jumper out to a tiny airport near the town of Samana. Then, it was a 45 minute car ride to the town of Las Galeras where I stayed at the Villa Serena hotel. I spent the next few days lounging on the beach, visiting the El Limon waterfall and traveling around the peninsula. My last day was spent in Santo Domingo."
